With the introduction of Artificial Intelligence and its application in various spheres of business and everyday life, the topic began to be recognized as important and representatives of European industry associations, the Bulgarian state administration and the media began to seek expert opinions from BAIT.
In this regard, the association established a working group “Artificial Intelligence”, in which representatives of member companies, with different expertise participate.
The chairman of the working group is Ivan Dudin from Balkansworks, and the deputy chair is Dr. Galya Mancheva from Ai Advy. Among the topics on which the group works, are: regulatory compliance with Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, cybersecurity, large language models (LLM).
In the last 3 weeks, the experts from the group have been discussing and formulating opinions on various topics and documents related to regulations at the national and European level. The working group is available in case of need for clarification of the specific matter and is already actively participating in forums related to Artificial Intelligence.
On May 9, you will be able to follow the presentation of the Deputy Chair of the group, Dr. Mancheva, in the panel “New Technologies and Their Applications in Education – Artificial Intelligence” during the “European Digital Innovation Days in Education”. The event is organized by the European Digital Innovation Hub “Trakia” and the GATE Institute.
