Irina Radoeva, APIS EUROPE AD CEO, was unanimously re-elected as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of BAIT at the General Accountability and Election Meeting on May 29, 2025. This will be Mrs. Radoeva’s second term of office. She has led the Board of Directors of BAIT for the past 2 years, with “Electronic Governance”, “State Institutions” and “Market Environment and Competition” areas of competence.
Irina Radoeva is the executive director of APIS EUROPE AD, responsible for marketing and sales. She graduated from the Technical University of Sofia with a degree in engineering. From 1999 to 2001, she was Executive Secretary of the Bulgarian Association for Information Technologies. From 2001 to February 2018. is the Commercial Director of APIS, responsible for the development of marketing strategies, commercial policy and customer relations. She also manages the activities of APIS distributors in Sofia and in the country. She has an extensive experience in organizing conferences, seminars and training courses.
Irina Radoeva said that her goal is to continue working in the same effective way towards greater visibility in the e-government and public administration sector. “I think it is good to unite in defending our interests a wider range of companies, not only BAIT member companies, but every company that is interested in a given topic, and the ICT community as a whole,” she added.
The Board will continue to actively work on other priority topics such as changes in education, the challenges of introducing the euro in Bulgaria and the introduction of artificial intelligence into all sectors of the economy.
After in 2023 BAIT, for the first time in its 28-year history, elected a woman as Chairperson the Board, the trend continued after this general meeting, with the number of women prevailing for the first time.
