Opinion of 6 related ICT organizations on the Draft Law on the State Budget of the Republic of Bulgaria for 2025 and the updated medium-term budget forecast for the period 2025 – 2028 – December 12
On December 12, BAIT, together with colleagues from AIBEST, BASCOM, BESCO, ICT Cluster and PARAi, all members of BRAIT, sent an opinion to the Minister of Finance on the Draft Law on the State Budget of the Republic of Bulgaria for 2025 and the updated medium-term budget forecast for the period 2025 – 2028.
The main issues addressed are:
- Increasing the maximum social security income;
- Canceling the increase in the VAT threshold from BGN 100,000 to BGN 166,000;
- Increased spending in the public sector;
- The minimum wage (MW) should not be tied to the average wage
